The Lion Marks Podcast: Learning Rude Japanese with Ishii

On this episode, we walk you through some of the common phrases you might hear in the ring.

In a recent G1 match with Goto, Ishii can be heard saying:
“ORA ORA = COME ON! LET’S GO!”
“TATE GOTO = STAND UP, GOTO!”
“DOUSHITA, OI = HEY! WHAT’S WRONG!?”

On commentary, you may hear:
“Kaeshita” (返した) = Denied (said after a failed pin attempt)
“Hayai” (早い) = Fast, quick
